Help new teams build trust from day one

Every new hire resets the clock on how well a team works together. Rising Team gives new teams structured sessions to learn how each person works, and gives their manager an AI leadership personal trainer that learns the team as it forms.

The problem

New teams take months to trust each other, and fast hiring keeps resetting the clock

A new team has talent and a deadline. What it doesn’t have yet is what makes teams fast: knowing how each person works, what they’re best at and how they want feedback. Most teams pick that up by accident, over months, and every new hire starts the clock again.

The manager is the one person who can speed it up, and most have no structured way to do it.

A team's trust drawn as a line over time. It climbs, then drops back each time the team changes: a new hire, two more joining, a new manager. It never reaches the level where the team does its best work. Where a team does its best work NEW HIRE +2 HIRES NEW MANAGER TEAM TRUST, OVER A YEAR

The more a new hire connects in the first 90 days, the faster they say they get productive

How it works

A new team’s first quarter

A manager with two long-timers and four new hires. Team sessions connect the people to each other. Arti, the team’s AI leadership personal trainer, coaches the manager between them, and every session teaches it more about the team.

  1. Week 1 Team session · Working Styles

    Everyone writes a user manual

Each person writes how they work best: when they focus, how they like feedback, what drains them. The team reads them together, and Arti remembers every one.

Six people who know how to work with each other

  2. Week 2 Arti · Coaching session

The manager asks how to give Priya feedback

Arti already knows from Priya’s user manual that she wants feedback in writing, before the meeting. The manager walks in with a plan instead of a guess.

A first piece of feedback that lands

  3. Week 3 Team session · Natural Talents

The team maps what energizes each person

Everyone gets a spider chart of what comes most easily to them and what gives them energy. The manager can see who to put together on the launch.

Pairs built on strengths, not seating charts

  4. Week 4 Arti · Working session

Roles and priorities, drafted in one sitting

The manager and Arti draft who owns what this quarter, on your company’s leadership framework, so six new people stop guessing where their work begins and ends.

    Clarity on who owns what

  5. Week 6 Team sessions · Minis

One question opens each team meeting

“What makes your day better at work?” Ted says everything gets better when he breaks up his day with something outdoors. Between meetings, Arti asks the team questions in Slack or Teams, and remembers the answers.

Connection that builds every week, in minutes

  6. Week 8 Arti · Role play

    Rehearsing the first hard conversation

Sam and Luis disagree about who owns a handoff. The manager practices the conversation out loud with Arti playing Sam, then gets scored on objective, clarity and empathy.

A hard conversation had early, not avoided

  7. Week 10 Team session · Appreciation Kit

Everyone learns how the others like to be appreciated

Before anyone has the chance to get it wrong, the team knows who wants public thanks, who wants a quiet note, and who wants more responsibility.

FAQ

Questions people leaders ask

How is this different from our onboarding program?

Onboarding introduces a person to the company. Rising Team works on the team they join: how its people work together, what each of them needs, and how their manager leads them. It picks up where onboarding leaves off, and it works just as well when a whole team is new.

How soon can a new team start?

In its first week. Every Kit comes with step-by-step guidance, so the manager runs it with no prep and no lift from HR. People join on their own devices with a QR code or a link, and Minis take a few minutes inside meetings the team already has.

Where does Arti learn about each person?

Mostly from the team sessions themselves, like Working Styles and Natural Talents, and from the questions Arti asks the team in Slack or Teams. Managers can also upload results like Myers-Briggs or StrengthsFinder, or tell Arti what they’ve learned. Arti never carries what one person tells it privately into anyone else’s conversations.

Does it work for remote and distributed teams?

Yes. Team sessions run live on everyone’s own device, wherever they are, and Arti works in Slack, Microsoft Teams and your calendar. Google Cloud’s Business Platform organization uses Rising Team across teams in every time zone.

How will we know new teams are coming together?

A quick pulse after each team session tracks connection and effectiveness, and leadership sees anonymized trends across teams. Rising Team measures against a control group: customers see trust and connection scores rise 30% within a single quarter.

Is our data used to train AI models?

Never. Customer data is never used to fine-tune, train or improve any AI models at Rising Team or by its third-party partners, and each AI service it works with contractually commits not to train on the data it sends them.

Every new team starts somewhere. Start it with trust.
