Sales Development Manager / Team lead


Rising Team is seeking a passionate, data-driven Sales Development Manager to help accelerate new business pipeline and hire, coach and manage a team of SDRs/BDRs. This role reports to the Head of Growth.

At Rising Team our mission is to empower managers to build more engaged, connected, and successful teams. The Rising Team platform helps companies scale Talent Development by equipping managers with tools to run engaging team development sessions. Each Rising Team Kit covers one leadership topic and includes training for the leader and a fun, interactive experience for the team. Our primary customers are HR leaders and/or senior executives interested in driving transformation in engagement, retention, and effectiveness at their organizations.

  • Understand our mission and our customers
  • Develop and execute new strategies for prospecting and outbound efforts that will be scaled across the Sales team.
  • Attract, hire, develop, and retain SDR/BDR talent
  • Directly manage a team of SDRs/BDRs to generate qualified meetings with decision makers across the Enterprise market segment.
  • Work cross-functionally with our Marketing, Sales, and Operations to develop Sales led growth strategies.
  • Implement, improve, and standardize key sales processes in service of driving consistent and repeatable motions that predictably drive customer growth.
  • Proactively track and analyze key trends to inform data-driven decisions
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively hire and manage a high-performing team of SDRs in a B2B SaaS company
  • Demonstrated ability to drive leads and build a customer pipeline.
  • Ability to drive and manage cross-functional initiatives at scale
  • Comfort with and ability to navigate hiring and working in a rapidly growing environment
  • Strong knowledge of outbound lead generation technology and techniques
  • High levels of self motivation, ownership, and adaptability, with the ability to handle multiple responsibilities
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and people management skills
  • Passion for driving results
  • Comfort with the ambiguity that comes with a seed stage startup
